RaceToTheTop Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Watching a crying John Harrar come back on the court with 1:26 left in a 93-66 deficit to Nebraska so he can get his senior send off is about as sad a moment as you'll ever see. thebigweave and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Have definitely avoided being the worst team in a Power Conference. Georgetown lost their 18th straight and 0-16 in conference. G'town needs a new coach. Archie Miller anyone? Quote

They’ve raised their academic standards for athletes since the Thompson days to the point that they really struggle to get kids in. Recruiting-wise, the DMV is both scuzzy and insular and Ewing has not only made no effort to wade into it, he’s been openly hostile to the idea. Their facilities suck. And, watching them, Ewing really is objectively terrible. They have talent, but the lack of development is criminal. Whomever the next guy is has to get some kind of concession on the academic side and then hold his nose and jump into the DMV swamp. But if he can keep Mohammed and Mutombo and get Harris to realize he’s not the only kid on the floor, he’d have a chance to make a pretty decent 1st impression. Rico and Hovadipo 2 Quote

That's not terrible at all. Also 14ppg ...and 8 (!) rebounds per game. For context, that rebounding number is right where Trayce and Race are ... and he's 6'5" Kid can play. A little additional quick research -- Bruiser Flint was his primary IU guy--when Bruiser left Kenya became the lead. If he ever hit the portal UK would probably make an immediate move on him. thebigweave, RaceToTheTop, mamasa and 4 others 7 Quote
