IUPUI lost to Chicago State the other night.  Their only win was against D-III Spalding, and will probably be the only win this season.

In my opinion, they're a strong contender for the worst team in the country.  They lost their best players from last season and the only good talent they have is a seventh-year senior.  Luckily for them, IUPUI has never had any interest in athletics as a motivation to bring in students, and the Natatorium is mostly for Olympic events, so this ineptitude will, as usual, go under the radar, but it remains a source of frustration to me.

Sister in-law is a golfer at IUPUI. But I think the lower focus is kinda part of why she went there over some other places. That and she's in a bigger city which she likes and only 2 hours away from her nephew.

For some people, that is a huge benefit, and I am eternally grateful for their services in the health industry (it's one of the few places you can get decent dental services like root canals and crowns that won't break the bank if you're on a low income), but I get slighted whenever Horizon League "purists" keep calling them "Ooey-Pooey" and get miffed about having to put up with IUPUI in their league.

Won’t be able to watch the IU game until tonight. Couldn’t pass up an invite to the Utah-Mizzou game. Mizzou’s arena holds 15,000. Can’t be more than 2,000 here for a pretty good game. Utah’s a little talent deficient at this point, and they’re playing without their best player, but, man, their actions are so clean when they execute. Just beautiful. When Craig Smith gets the talent upgraded there, they’ll be destination tv.
