B1G still for the most part struggling in these marquee matchups.  Going to cost the league some bids come March

For sure.

So far this year, only Purdue, IU, MSU, Iowa, NW, and Minny haven’t disappointed. And three of those teams haven’t played a team in the top 200.

Mary, Ill, UM, PSU, OSU, Rut, Neb, and Wisc have looked weak or weaker than expected.

Unlv/Wichita St about to tip off

Wichita St ended up winning it by 1.   I’m just catching up on the last 7 min of the game.  Etienne had another big second half.  He is really good.   Never thought when watching Porter in high school that he would be playing D1 ball.  I remember when he was in juco IU took a look at him and I never really gave it a thought.   Great job by him improving and earning his spot on Wichita St

Safe to say the top teams so far this year are Zags, UCLA, Purdue and Kansas.  You can make a case for each of them to be in the top spot.
A bad trend this year in college basketball is turnovers are way up across the board. This isn’t just an IU thing this is a problem across the board, although Nova didn’t turn the ball over at all in the first half of their game.   A Memphis/W Kentucky game I watched had over 50 turnovers combined.   Ken Pom usually post interesting in season stats on trends so I can’t wait to see some of the numbers he comes up with

May coincide with the transfer frequency starting this year. Takes more time to build chemistry now with so many additions and departures??? Be interesting to see if that trend comes back down over the next few weeks.

I’m sure you’re right. Imagine that massive roster turnover has also resulted in a lot of coaches really prioritizing getting their defenses installed ahead of their offenses, even more so than in the past, just because it’s simpler.

With Purdue being 54-0 I would of had them in the 1 spot.     You had St Bonaventure unranked before this week? They are really good.

Yea I didn't notice the 54-0 thing lol. But yea I had St. Bonaventure unranked. But in my eyes, teams from 11 and down don't have really big separations. I think most of them you could just interchange and it make sense and the same for some teams on the outside of the Top 25.

BS call putting WIchSt on the line in the end in my opinion. UNLV guy was backup pedaling whole time and never created the contact.

The final play no call I was good with. Coaching staffs about got into it after game.

Yeah looked like he was trying to call timeout and the ref called the foul.  Was it a foul? maybe but that is a tough way to lose a game.  I wish they no called it
