I've forgotten as much as it's healthy to forget about Crean's first three years, but the name Loyola Maryland rang a bell so I looked it up. They came in and spanked us like a red-headed stepchild in Crean's second year. We didn't score until the 13:43 mark of the first half, by which point we were down 15-0. About midway through the first half it was 24-4.

So I got home from Charleston and turn on the tv to see Wisky and Temple and see Terrible Ted Valentine instead. After all these years he's still blowing calls and the game needs to be about him. He cost us a big one and influenced many others and just hates Knight and Indiana. He's not my favorite zebra you might say.

Watching Wisky play at Temple. Looks like the owls will hold on to win this one. Something of serious note has happened here. Some kid named Shizz Alston Jr. (temple) has just made his 52nd straight free throw. Streak goes back to December 2016. Now that’s awesome. I wonder what the record is?

Yeah, I checked it out. Was Darnell Archey from the Bulldogs. His record is 85 straight. It is considered by many to be untouchable. (Except by De’ron)

Darnell was my neighbor growing up. He was about 5 years older than me, so I never got to play with him. I would just watch him shoot at the YMCA, shot after shot. His free throw streak wasn't surprising in the least. I'll say this: he and his dad should have offered to replace the net on the middle basket weekly.
