Michigan was the worst team in the B1G last season.  They’re the best team in the B1G this season.  Dusty May is the real deal.

I think so, too. But they have a fairly ridiculous number of 1 possession wins. May has to get those  better at finishing teams off.

While I agree with the overall assessment, close wins means a team is well coached.  It builds a lot of character to win close games down the stretch.

Today was the first time I really watched Michigan (didn't get to see our game with them).

Offensively, their passing and execution is light years better than anything we've seen here the past 8 years. I know some have concerns about turnovers, but they still have a top 25 offensive efficiency. And for those concerned about defense, their defensive efficiency actually ranks higher than their offense.

OSU tied the game with about 2 minutes left, and May took a timeout. Michigan scored on its next two possessions, looking confident and aggressive in doing it. They're very well-coached and very efficient. May would absolutely succeed here.

St Johns/Creighton tipping off at 3 on FS1

Certainly been interesting to watch McDermott’s system in a B1G environment because this crew is letting St John’s mug them. Pitino’s got to be thrilled with this whistle.
