Colorado should have upset unbeaten Arizona. This was the winning shot. It was initially ruled good. As you can see, the ball is out of his hands and the light on the backboard hasn't come on yet. When the replay was shown on the big screen, the Arizona fans started cheering, hoping they could convince the officials it was late. Their efforts were rewarded as the refs waved it off and Arizona went on to win in overtime. I had forgotten about it. You would be surprised how many times that has happened over the years. I can’t remember if this was the case but sometimes the clock they show on TV isn’t synced up with the true clock. I watched a game the other day where there was a buzzer beater and the clock on tv didn’t start line it should of and people on Twitter was saying it shouldn’t of counted but someone else showed the clock behind the basket and the clock started on time. Now you are going to have me looking the game up on YouTube trying to watch it again. lol Quote

Peacock clock was a good half second off and made it look like MSU got screwed. (MSU did, however, get screwed on the play before the buzzer beater) Demo, thebigweave, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
Demo Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 Putting aside that it doesn’t look like a walk, this is 1 of the quickest hooks I’ve seen in a minute. Has to be some RMK/Teddy V-level history here. Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 There's some BRUTAL officiating in the Valley. Saw that firsthand last year. Quote

There was definitely traveling here... dude move both feet before he put the ball on the floor, and after he picked up his dribble, it looked like he was doing a soft-shoe routine... but yeah, Petty was pretty quick to toss Shaw. Either he's Teddy V reincarnated or Shaw said something extremely disgusting about Shaw's wife, mother and daughter. RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

The clock over the basket and the clock in the crowd behind the backboard aren't synced -- 0.2 second difference. Clock leaves his hand after what 0.0 on the basket clock but at 0.1 on the clock behind the basket. Shot ruled no good. Uspshoosier 1 Quote

Stuhoo Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 The bad news blows into Louisville all of the time. #25 nationally ranked recruit Dennis Evans (who has most definitely not played well at all) has lost his medical clearance. In typical UL basketball style, their word salad statement begs many questions. Doesn’t just say he’s not medically cleared; adds “at UL.” No statement of UL helping him, looking out for him, etc. it’s just plain weird. Quote

coonhounds Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Not even close. The ball is 2' away from his hands already with 0.2 seconds left. How could they overturn that and even pretend to be unbiased?Charolette at iu is a game I always argued as a loss!!Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk Ryno6284 1 Quote

Hopefully that’s just irresponsible speculation on my part and the kid will be ok. Quote

They'll have at least one Quad 1 win for the year but they can't lose many in the ASun. Uspshoosier 1 Quote
