It's the age-old question which has been vetted best in tennis.

For instance, in 1998, world #203 men's player Karsten Braasch played a round of golf in the morning, had two beers at lunch, and that afternoon beat Serena Williams 6-1. Later that same afternoon, he beat Venus WiIlliams 6-2. At the end of the day, he said that he played 'down' to keep the matches 'fun'.

Just like a bad NBA team would crush Duke or UConn, Montverde would absolutely destroy the Las Vegas Aces. If Montverde played with full effort it would be ridiculous. And if the women used the larger men's ball, it would be that much more ridiculous.

USWNT got smoked by a u17 team if I recall correctly

Are there actually people that believe the Aces could beat MVA boys? I mean sincerely believe it?

I guarantee there are people that do. I guarantee the WNBA players would say(probably not believe it). I mean I've seen videos of people interviewed outside of WNBA games saying Breanna Stewart would beat Trae Young 1v1(I think it was Stewart but can't remember exactly). There are WNBA fans who have convinced themselves that WNBA players and NBA players are equals.

So does McNeely start at the 2? Maybe we can have Montverde play Iowa women's first. Knock Clark down a peg.

McNeeley is likely a 3 for us.  I wonder if Mgbako doesn’t track and he stays for a second year if they slide McNeeley to a 2.

McNeeley does play the 2 at Montverde.  Givens, McNeeley, Flagg, Newell, Queen.

This is just flat out ridiculous.

Howard transfer forward Seth Towns has been cleared by the NCAA for his 8th season of college hoops. Towns has been in college since 2016 and earned 2 degrees thus far.

Career Path

  • 2016-17: Harvard
  • 2017-18: Harvard
  • 2018-19: Harvard (Injured)
  • 2019-20: Harvard (Injured)
  • 2020-21: Ohio State

FWIW, the 2022-23 season listed as DNP he stepped away from the program altogether.  But yeah, very strange grant of an extra year given those they've turned down.

For reference, Ali Patberg had as long of a college career as I've seen:

  • 2015-16 Notre Dame  (injured)
  • 2016-17 Notre Dame
  • 2017-18 transfer to Indiana (had to sit out)
  • 2018-19 Indiana
  • 2019-20 Indiana
  • 2020-21 Indiana
  • 2021-22 Indiana (extra covid year)

The Trey Woodbury decision was the one that still baffles me.

That's a tall lineup. But I wouldn't mind seeing Cupps, Newton(?), McNeely, Mgbako, Reneau.
