This is getting interesting. I am shocked MSU is struggling this bad---especially at home. The injury bug has left them depleted and messed with their chemistry. I still think they get it turned around by March--probably about the time we play them!

Maryland keeps winning close ones and Purdue is up and down. I like our chances against both of them in The Hall.

Iowa looks like the class of the Big Ten to me. Our game with them will be a war and may have title implications.

Iowa looks really strong. Here's to hoping they find a way to be Iowa late in the year and blow it.

The Nebraska and Ohio State victories are looking alot better lately.  Assuming OSU holds on here.

It's so tough to judge how good a victory is, especially this year with so much parity and up and down play.  O$U won on the road at Northwestern before we gave them a beat down in the Hall.  They then followed that up with another poor performance at Maryland.  They're now playing better against pu.  Nebrasketball really struggled to start B1G play before finding their way recently.  Wiscy is also playing a bit better in the last few.  The injuries, road vs. home, and just a 18-22 year old young men all factor into how a team can play one game to the next.

Edit:  matchups can be a huge factor as well.  A team we might matchup terrible with could be a better matchup with a team lower in the B1G rankings and vice versa.

Totally off topic and I plead guilty but this is one of those items that's too good not to share.   B. J. Burries a 5'9" 140 lb. freshman from Globe (AZ) high school scored 68 points in a 105 - 103 double OT win against Florence (AZ) to set a new Arizona Division IV scoring record.  He made 22 field goals of which 7 were 3's and he made 17 of 18 free throws.   The previous record for most points was set back in1954!!  FWIW, I think Globe would be the equivalent of an Indiana 2A school, but 68 points is 68 points regardless.

Good find Old Fart. Another off-topic---Down here in Southern Indiana the buzz is all about the Princeton girls high school bball player who broke the all-time Indiana high school scoring record last night for girls and boys by scoring over 30 points and passing Damon Bailey's mark. I think her name is Jackie Young. She's a talent. Unfortunately I think she is going to play for Notre Dame.
