I would take CAM over Crean in a heartbeat, simply because I wasn't embarrassed to have CAM on the sidelines. Tom Crean became a caricature of himself by the end of his time here.

A caricature who won B1G titles, took us to SW16's, had us ranked in the top 10 repeatedly and at one point as the longest #1 ranked team, brought us teams with Wat, Hulls, Oladipo, OG, Yogi, etc. He was embarrassing, like I said I'm not a Crean apologist, but I would take him any freaking day over CAM, who did nothing but create the worst offense I've ever seen an IU team run, and lose.

To each their own, I wasn't commenting on their accomplishments or coaching abilities. I loved Crean at the beginning, even did a speech about him (very positive one) in my business presentations class (I want to say X-104?) at IU.  Over time though, the sidelines antics, cutting down nets after a loss, the cue cards about 2-handed rebounds etc. drove me crazy. I know that stuff didn't bother everyone else as much as me, but personally I was embarrassed to have him on the sidelines. I can't prove this, but I also felt that hoky vibe was resonating outward regarding the IU program and its perception nationally.

Pretty hard to argue with.

While the Big ten doesn't have any great teams, the top end talent in this league is as good as I can remember. Those 5 are ridiculously good basketball players and 3 of them will be lottery picks

helluva team

Bellarmine up 14 late in first half.    Entertaining to watch on the offensive end

Devault is knocking 3s which was a specialty he had at Memorial. Pretty he is like 6’10 or 6’11, came from a tall family

That buyout for the school is woof

Yeah, Lykes extended Capel after 2 losing seasons and included that stone nuts buyout. Meanwhile, they can’t get an extension done with Pat Narduzzi, who’s been, ya know, successful. Makes you wonder what her buyout is.
