To each their own, I wasn't commenting on their accomplishments or coaching abilities. I loved Crean at the beginning, even did a speech about him (very positive one) in my business presentations class (I want to say X-104?) at IU.  Over time though, the sidelines antics, cutting down nets after a loss, the cue cards about 2-handed rebounds etc. drove me crazy. I know that stuff didn't bother everyone else as much as me, but personally I was embarrassed to have him on the sidelines. I can't prove this, but I also felt that hoky vibe was resonating outward regarding the IU program and its perception nationally.

Not sure this is really debatable. 

Very deserving, hopefully his team does well in the tournament.

Yeah, Lykes extended Capel after 2 losing seasons and included that stone nuts buyout. Meanwhile, they can’t get an extension done with Pat Narduzzi, who’s been, ya know, successful. Makes you wonder what her buyout is.
