So what happens in these cases? Does Seattle U get credited with a W in each of these cases of the other school forfeiting?

Does it have no effect on records?

No chance or quickly scheduling the game at a different location?

Sorry, but this is getting ridiculous. The people who have died have all been elderly with underlying health issues. COVID-19 is less contagious than the flu.

Better safe than sorry, but this is a lot of hype...

...for the record, if I die from it, all of you can cite this post as an example of someone who didn't take it seriously enough.

It’s okay for somebody to die if they are old?

They were about to play Chicago State. They had already credited their schedule with a win.

I was  talking about a bunch of 18-22 year olds in the primes of their lives and peak physical condition being most likely okay to play a basketball game. Where the hell did you get that I said it's okay for old people to die?

Look, I get that on the court there's spit and sweat and blood and everything flying all over the place, but I just don't see the need to all of a sudden cancel everything and PANIC when something like .00001% of the population has it (not to mention those who've had it and don't even know since they're asymptomatic). If we all live our lives in constant fear then what's the point???

But I totally agree with you, it's all about the hits, clicks, subscribes, etc. Follow the $$$$$

So there are people other than the players associated with a basketball team. Coaches and support. Who are frequently not young and in some cases they are very old.

In addition while it’s not fatal it’s not exactly smart to risk getting your entire team sick with virus.

Plus they get sick where do they come back to?  Your campus infecting faculty and students.

Everyone wears masks. Players play with them and schools give you team specific mask to go to the game in.
