Norlander and Parrish at the end of their pod discuss Indiana vs Texas job.

these guys have disparaged the job Woodson has done since year 2.  They know Archie sucked. The say Texas job is better because there is less pressure.  Get the hell out of here with that take. Texas pushed 2 of the best coaches in the game out.  Rick Barnes and Shaka Smart.  Both Indiana coaches are stinking up the joint all over the place after Indiana and Woodson doesn’t even need described.

these guys have a nice pod but their hatred for Indiana and it’s fanbase is ludicrous.  At some point you have to step back and realize the nonsense that is coming out of your mouth.

Now: if you want to debate weather, ADs, local talent, NIL and other things that’s fine but this narrative about Indiana is driving me crazy.

Look at our results and ROI.   Be reasonable.

There’s less pressure in the sense literally nobody cares about basketball besides your bosses. You live in a good sized city and can do whatever you want without hassle. And there are plenty of resources.

Shaka failed there he wasn’t pushed out. And honestly Barnes kind had a Knight situation where his own success dictated first round losses every year weren’t good enough. Depending on your personality, I can see it. Kind of like how Lincoln Riley left OU for USC. Leaving an actual fishbowl job for the anonymity of a big city. For many coaches IU is more appealing because the stakes are higher.

Big City stuff is fair.

But 2 of the countries best didn’t win there and are winning elsewhere. 1 got pushed out, the other pretty much wanted to leave to get away from it. Acting like Indiana isn’t patient but Texas is, is just a farce.

He’s a lowkey dirty player. Or just physical you might say.

He practically dares refs to call fouls on him and then can't believe it when they do. He fouled out on a moving screen when we played them and both he and Painter were incredulous. On replay, if his legs had been any farther apart he could have been performing squats.

Barnes won as much or more at Texas as he has at Tenn. then he fell off hard. Hell we basically wanted Knight out when he did the same and Knight had 3 titles to his name. Shaka was bad at Texas. 3/6 years in the tournament. 6 years was probably a gift to him. But at worst he was a distraction on campus until spring ball.

IU admin is patient…to a fault, imo. The fans and media are not. Literally nobody cares about basketball in Austin. Tom Crean took 10x the crap from fans than Shaka did. You’ll never have 15,000 fans booing you at a home game at UT like Woody, Davis, Archie and Crean have. Indy talk radio will ride your butt after every loss. Austin..you’ll be lucky if they’ll report your scores. That’s what wears on people and their families. And that’s what they are talking about.

Damn. The Amish boy and Hermey the Elf are tearing Ruger apart.

The Amish boy doing the shooting ice water into his veins gesture is really, really, really annoying.

So sick of those two. I hope we load up this spring and kick their ***** next year.

Hermey the elf isn't very strong. He doesn't drive. He isn't very physical. He can't play defense.

But man, that kid can shoot.

Him and Goode should’ve played together at least one year in HS. Bet not too many teams played 2-3 zone successfully against them.

Bubble teams doing well so far.
Credit to UNC, they’re destroying the teams they should be beating.
Georgia won earlier. Baylor tied at half, as is Nova.

Texas up 5 at #25 Mississippi St

I'm sad to report that (pending a miraculous at large to anything) the Phoenix will not be rising. Doug, we'll remember the laughs and the losses...oh so many losses along the way.

Good for him.

His focus this season ...

97% on his radio show; 3% on coaching.

He can now put that extra 3% into his crappy radio show!
