I promise this isn’t political, but of note, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his daughter are sitting courtside at UK for the UF game. AND they sat him NEXT TO THE UK BENCH. AND Gov and his daughter aren’t wearing orange!!

SEC basketball is currently what SEC football keeps trying to cling to but isn’t anymore. It’s miles ahead of every other conference this year. Watching this game after watching OSU-MSU last night, Jesus. It’s the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it.

Kentucky and Florida was a very fun game. UK and UL both made very good coaching hires last offseason. Pope has a roster that he could easily go to a F4 with. I like the guy as much as I hate to admit it

Yeah, the Pope thing is really a problem. The idea that UK has Pope and Purdue has Painter, 2 guys I would actively root  for at literally any other jobs, really grinds my gears.

Watching UK this year, with Pope who seems like genuinely decent chap, and a roster of guys who aren’t renting the uniform for a year before heading to the NBA; I find my hatred of UK slightly waning.

Have to say that to this point Notre Dame has not shown as much under Shrewsbury as people thought they would.  Currently 7-6 with six losses in their last 7.  UNC, though, has underperformed all year as well.

they are knotted up at 66 with 3 minutes left.
