I don't think we are better off... We would be better using X more in the role of a freshman Yogi rather than Clipper CP3.

Outside of an 8 game stretch at the end of the 21-22 season X has been wildly inconsistent as a scoring threat for us.  If we could have seen that performance at the end of his first year carry over to the beginnings of last year or this year there would not be any of that talk. 
 

While his offensive game has not been consistent his defense and ball handling have been pretty consistent and would really be helpful right now.

Stonehill is 2-11, 1-11 against D1 and has only six scholarship players. And three of their starters are out. And they are 358 in Kenpom with those starters.

Rutgers down three at home against them with 10:15 left in the game.
