It’s been a while for a big game. Although we got some last night on our drives. Basketball games are so easy to fix/influence as a ref. It’s the worst part of the sport but also sometimes what makes it so dramatic.

That was a great time to be a high school and college bb fan. Got to see Montross play once in HS. Will never forget me and a good friend stumbled out of the bathroom at Hinkle (after an afternoon of drinking) to find ourselves standing on the baseline as Henderson was finishing a two hand slam dunk in the night game. Just lost that friend to cancer way too early as well.

Great times my uncle lived in Bedford and was Damon's teacher one year. I got the updates from almost every game bailey ever played starting in 8th grade

He once told me wife and she looked at him like he was nuts. She isn't from indiana had no idea who Damon was. Now I feel old.

Just saw where that was Scheyer's first win over a Top Ten team as Duke downed #10 Baylor.

Also Duke hasn't had 4 losses before X-mas since 1982.

Bama has played a gauntlet of a schedule this year.   In the non conference they played Ohio St, Oregon, Clemson, Purdue, Creighton and Arizona.   Problem is they only beat Oregon out of that group and Oregon isn’t close to being a tourney team.   Definitely work to do in conference for them

That’s probably scheduling too tough then, because I’m not sure then committee will reward them. Your average 9 seed probably loses all those same games if they played them but gets the advantage of W’s over lesser teams.

Diamond Head classic starts today.  Kind of a forgotten tourney.   Day basketball though starting at 3

They will just have to win enough in conference and they will have less room for error.  However if they win enough games they will get the benefit of the doubt because I’m guessing their non con Sos will be very high.   They also beat Indiana St which right now is a top 20 win
