Long but really, really good read about a former IU manager and his career around the world as a coach/scout.  I know the (Adam Tatalovich) from when played at the high school I teach at.  Was cut as a player his freshman, sophomore, and junior years and managed the high school team.  Kept on the team as a 'victory cigar' player as a senior.  One of the worst players I've ever seen, but his love for the game has taken him a lot of places.

Crazy we're at that point where we need to see if our team will compete to be excited about a game with a rival. I can't imagine why this wasn't the game day stop in Bloomington.

IU fans are understandably pessimistic about our chances. Purdue usually wins at home and this year they are ranked in the tope 5 so they are more likely than usual to win at home. This isn't a must game. Indiana doesn't have to win this game to get in the NCAA tournament which is an unusual spot for us to be in lately.. Plus IU is coming off a road loss.

I get that Purdue fans and even some members of our own fan base like to take shots at us, but there’s one school that appears in the top 4 twice.  It ain’t Duke, North Carolina, or Purdue.

Boy did Depaul/Creighton benefit from everyone leaving the TV on after the NFL game for dinner.

We were upset we didn't get gameday a few weeks ago. There is good reason for that. That was my point.
