I always take a moment to appreciate UK's first loss every year. I haven't forgotten the UK super-team that almost ran the table, how ridiculously stacked they were and how much flexing their fans did as they closed in on our claim to being the last unbeaten team.

Kansas up 5 with 9 sec to go.   Jalen Wilson has been awesome

I didn’t see the whole game but that was my take away. He’ll be a tough matchup for us.

Also, MSU will be a physical tough game for us. We’ll need to shoot well, because I think they’ll do a good job of making things tough on our bigs.

I’m hoping that we won’t constantly lose track of Joey Hauser like UK did. Pretty sure we won’t.

Yeah, KU doesn't strike me as the most physically talented team, but they are very good and play smart. Wilson looks to be a problem.

Maybe it's because they are young and it's early, or maybe because I hate them and am biased, but Duke didn't impress me. Of course they have lots of great players (Filipowski is a lottery pick) and they play hard, but not particularly smart. Kind of a hero ball feel. Seemed like they just took turns clearing out and going one on one. KU had a lot of lay-ups and clean looks too. I have little doubt they'll end up winning a ton of games and be a top 3 seed, but they have a ways to go, IMO.

I agree, and hate Duke, but the caveat is that it is a very young team at the beginning of the season. They have barely played together in games that count. I’d bet on them gelling as the season goes on but have no idea how they will do in March.

Rough start in Louisville. Can anyone recall another team starting the season with three one point losses?  Going down to Bellarmine, Wright State and App State points to a really rough year in the ACC.

Guess those strippers helped more than we realized :)

Boeheim wants to talk about how bad the Big Ten is... But the Big Ten isn't struggling against a bunch of teams from 1 bid leagues.

Last time a D-1 school started the season with three straight 1 point losses was the 1980-1981 season. ESPN had it on their ticker over and over and over and over and over..
