When I see Al this season I see exactly the same player as last season. He plays hard, helps the team as best he can. He's not a great player but not a bad player. He made some shots including free throws that helped IU win last season. But he also tried to do too much at times to the detriment of the team.  This season he does some things to help, too, but he is on a much better team this year at Providence than IU's team last year.

Kentucky up 3 with 16 min to go

USA up 1 on Italy in mixed curling in  the 2nd end but Italy looking to have a multi score

If we're doing other sports here, USA 2 goals to nil on Honduras in WC qualifying. Honduras leads in frostbite 8-6. (St Paul in February...really?)

Notre Dame needed that win.  Nice road win at Miami.   They might not play another tournament quality team the rest of the regular season

I find myself rooting for both teams, while hating both of them, rooting when either scores and being pissed that the other made a basket. I am so confused.

I just don't know who I love to hate the worst.

They are at Wake Forest and Florida State.  Florida State has fumbled lately and is probably on the wrong side of the bubble, but at least for now Wake Forest looks to be in decent shape.

After the Miami game, I have them just on the right side of the cut line.  But yeah, the remaining schedule doesn't provide much wiggle room.  My system says a team that is a fringe tournament worthy team would win 5.97 (so 6) of the last nine games.  But that would be just over the cut line probably and in danger of losing a bid to an auto qualifier upset.  Probably need to go 7-2 or 6 and do well in the ACC tourney.
