I think it could be another one of those seasons where MSU got overrated. Not having Langford to help with the scoring is going to hurt.

Marquette looks like a one man team. Can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Purdue is playing some great D but Marquette is getting open looks and not coming close to converting. Need some shooting lessons from North Alabama apparently.

I don’t know the numbers or percentages but I’d say the percentage of pu players shooting threes off the dribble as opposed to catching and shooting is significantly lower. They look uncomfortable when they can’t catch and shoot.

Purdue is a first half team. Against Texas and again tonight they looked in control in the 1st then collapsed. They have 14pts in the 2nd half with 1:14 to play! Way to close strong toilet-makers!

Painter is really good. But, sorry, if you’re running stuff with the goal to get Matt Haarms face ups in the midrange you have SERIOUS offensive issues. Unless Wheeler really takes off I don’t know where their offense comes from against anyone any good at all.
