Interesting situation with Quinerly.  He only played 3 min. on 11/23 in Nova's 19 pt. win over OK St. and he didn't play at all in Nova's loss to Furman on 11/17.  And today a second day that he never sees the court.

Memphis signee DJ Jeffries received a lot of backlash from Kentucky fans after his decommitment, but he only has one short message for them.

 

“Just know if we ever play them it’s going to be the same result as Duke,” Jeffries said.

Anyone else like this kid a little more now.

Interesting recruiting observation from watching replay of Wisky/Virginia today
Kihei Clark the freshman pt guard for Virginia was the other guard a couple years ago at peach jam that played with James Akinjo. Before peach jam Clark was committed to UC-Davis. He blew up at peach jam and reopened his recruitment and ended up going to Virginia. Brutal for the low major school but awesome for the kid. Now he is starting on the #4 team in the nation as a freshman.

NET doesn't play the school-name recognition game. UK has beaten five teams outside the top 150, all at home, and lost by 30+ in their one neutral site quadrant 1 game.

So they officially suck.

I’m gonna guess Iowa will do what they did the last time they got ranked highly... and fall in B1G play. Maryland still has the same coach so they will fall. Wisconsin is iffy. Virginia pretty much showed to just shut everyone else out because Happ can’t score enough. Indiana should be in here. Injuries and some very bad play the last 3 games have stopped that from happening.
