Every single time I watch Steve Alford coached teams it blows my mind that anyone has ever wanted him to be the head coach here. He is horrible, great recruiter, but horrible coach

He has done really well at the mid major level and he will probably be back there again soon. He could probably create a good mid major niche job somewhere where he could take a team to sweet sixteens on occasion and everyone would be happy.

I only watched the 1st half, but Wisconsin doesn't have much after Happ. There are a few nice complimentary players (Davidson & Iverson) and they do play hard and smart, but will be interesting how Gard does going forward once he only has his own players.

I watched the end of the Virginia-Wisconsin game today.. after the game Dan Dakich May have said the craziest thing he has ever said... after watching a game between two Top 25 teams end 53-46, he actually said the words “this was a fun game.” WTF were you watching Dan? Replay of the Rams-Chiefs game or something? He must have gotten a hold of Bill Walton before that game.

Many Basketball purists enjoy the defensive side the game. I get it. Not my favorite style but after watching years of Ole defense I enjoy teams committing to the defensive side of the ball.
