Sounds like the LSU job is about to be filled.

VCU head coach Will Wade has had discussions with LSU about replacing Johnny Jones and has emerged as one of the frontrunners for the job, sources told ESPN.

Wade, 34, has been the head coach of the Rams for two seasons, taking over when Shaka Smart left for Texas in 2015. VCU is 51-20 under Wade, making back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. Wade was also the head coach at Chattanooga for two seasons, going 40-25 overall and 27-7 in the Southern Conference.

Wade began his coaching career at Clemson as a graduate assistant and director of basketball operations from 2005-07, before spending time as an assistant coach at Harvard and VCU.

I know he was a knucklehead, but this was one of the most disappointing transfers for me.

For whatever reason I never remembered who the second player was who tried to sneak in that night. Honestly that incident never bothered me much.

Me either outside of the fact that Yogi must be dumb as hell to think that would work. Most well known guy on campus that has a very distinct look.

It was also during Little 500 week, if I remember correctly, the week that every bar is on higher-than-normal alert for that stuff.

Oklahoma State & Cal are the only big jobs for Crean as Winthrop is too low for him. Could see Crean at both but I honestly think he goes the NBA route as an assistant.
