The B1G, as a whole, is way down. The collective losses far outweigh the collective wins. Sparty losing at home to a directional school? Neb losing to a terrible GWU team?

If Northeastern won by 8, what is Northwestern gonna do? Is the entire MSU athletic dept tanking the season?

Northwestern will do Northwestern things. MSU will beat them.

Crazy how perception of coaches and programs can be. If iu lost to the 137 Ken Pom rated team at home some people would lose their minds even more then they have losing to 17th rated Ken Pom on a neutral court. Izzo and mich st can start 5-4( could very well of started 4-5) and national media and others can just say wait until march and izzo will be dangerous.
Which past history has proven this to be the case ( except last year middle Tennessee showed up). I know his history but I also believe each year u start with a different team and with as many new faces that play a big part in their program this year, none were around when izzo's march magic has actually worked. Izzo has earned the pass he will be giving I just find it as an interesting topic of perception. Having said all this I will still probably have Sparty in the elite 8 lol

I think that MSU with Miles Bridges is pretty good, but not all that good.

Without him? No way, no way, no way. Not with Izzo, K, Auerbach, and Wooden all on the coaching staff.

Still should of been able to beat a northeastern team at home that probably has a bunch of unranked kids and maybe a 3 star kid while Sparty still had a bunch of those coveted 5 star kids even without bridges

WHOA. Nebraska's Tim Miles on a Twitter hiatus!?! That's when you know things are going downhill with Nebrasketball:

1/2 Bad day at the office. I believe in what we are doing & can't wait to show our fans progress! But until then, going on a twitter hiatus

Seems like the new equivalent to the Owner/AD showing full support "kiss of death".

Duke up 27-23 on Tennessee State.

And doing so, in part, because they were able to saddle one of Tennessee State's best players with an early third foul;

Allen is such an incredibly unlikable player. Not just because the ridiculous referees are in the bag for him, but because his reaction to an untouched missed layup is to react on the floor until he sees that he got his petulant way.

Yeah I did not really see anything when I was watching the play happen.

With all his phoney crap, he should be a soccer player in Brazil.  His tripping act would go over well there also.

On our way to the game last night we were listening to Fisch on the pre game show. He was reviewing the B1G and said that they have won 74% of their non conference games this year. I'm not sure what the percentage has been in the past so it's hard to judge but it does seem that the B1G is down overall. He didn't really comment beyond that.
