Its funny though, he was suspended for one game earlier this week against Syracuse, then they brought him back to face Miami, then decide to kick him off the team.

I heard it was a pitino decision on the game and a school decision to dismiss him

First we need to take care of business down the stretch but the teams tied for 2nd have some losable games.

 

MD - Wis, UM, @Rut, @Neb (They've been terrible on the road recently)

MSU - Min, @Wis, PU, @IU (could slip up on the road)

pu - Rut, @OSU, @MSU, Ill (tough road games)

 

O$U - Neb, pur, @PSU, Wis

Iowa - Ill, @PSU, @IU, NW

 

There's still an outside shot at finishing in the top 4.  The most important thing is to win out and let the seeds fall where they will.  It would be really nice to get the #3 seed in the BTT to avoid Wis if we get that far.

That looks about right unless one of those teams ends with a terrible losing streak.  Ill has an outside shot but would probably have to make the BTT semi-finals at a minimum.

Iowa continues to amaze me at how good they can play and how bad they can play. Bardo (I think) commented Iowa lacked floor leadership from any player. I think they're scary in a lot of ways.

Word from the UofL boards is that it was an assistant coach who suspended him and brought him back after he did the right things. Then after the Miami game Jones got drunk and punched a girl in the face at which time he was dismissed.
Lots of bad off court issues and locker room disruption from him as a very selfish player and person.

Honestly the game would have me on edge. IU would worry me slightly just because their ability to go lights out from 3 at any time.
