The game has definitely turned into the wild west. Home Jersey 1 Quote

(and it's not, BTW) Other teams are going to start loading up with pros, and Indiana will continue clutching pearls with its Atlantic 10-caliber roster. Home Jersey 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 I don't know that I disagree with a lot of what Cal is saying. But at the same time -- call me a cynic -- I think he's a damn hypocrite for the way he's saying it. Cal doesn't care about players graduating. He doesn't care about players' mental health. He cares because the system -- for better or worse -- has leveled things out. His program is not necessarily a prime destination for transfers any longer. It's not necessarily the only one that can cut deals with players any longer. I agree that the system is out of control and some type of change is needed to reign things in a bit -- but let's not pretend that Cal's concern is because players might not graduate or might end up poor. His concern is because his program lost many of its advantages. Quote

Wasn’t right, and gave it a go for seven games anyway. He was pretty bad in those seven games. Can you imagine how much money A&M spent on that situation? Jeff Flabjohns 1 Quote
