...for developing this website. Since HSN went down I really didn't feel like I had a home for IU basketball. The other site (24/7) that was developed was/is filled with a lot of smart alecs and just plain jerks. I was over there yesterday just to see if they had any news and people were just mean and nasty to each other. Its like why do you guys even converse on this site ...unless you are a masochist, which I am not...man saying that out loud makes me think....wait, I digressed.

 

Anyway, I just wanted to say THANK YOU and stay frosty.  :cool:

All we ask is to have great discussion, just follow our rules and guidelines.

Very true.  We have a very intelligent, passionate, and knowledgeable group of posters here.  Most sites focus on basketball or football,  but we have die-hard experts on a ton of IU (and other pro) sports.  It's great to be able to learn about our teams from other members.  Our gurus here are second to none!

I remember scrolling through threads on hsn, seeing jaybob's name and before reading his post thinking 'over/under 50' as to how many exclamation points there'd be.  sometimes I'd even count.  you've really improved on that, big guy.  proud of you.  and it used to be simple protocol to take a quick jab at jaybob before officially becoming a site member.  rekindle that, maybe?

 

also remember consistently losing avatar bets to my nemesis natural, who I view in the same realm as kentucky basketball, brussel sprouts, women with fake hair and an annoying laugh, and cars parked in two spots at once.  I will win our next one.  final 2 cents- I want to see my older little brother johnsoniu post more, I don't miss mile's gigantic, overly optimistic, grammar-defiant posts even a little bit, and lets get oggy back.
