No Ive already admitted things aren't going well, but maybe some people take walk ons leaving as a bad thing, but its something that is dumb to me. I mean the situation is already bad but I feel like people are coming out of the woodwork to find any little thing to add fuel to the fire. Not that I really care, I get a laugh out of this board

Get a laugh? This board is most intelligent non-VIP forum existing for IU sports. So many good and varied posters. You seem to take little pot shots at people who disagree. Little demeaning quips.

Either way, the point is that there have been a lot of bad signs over the past year or 2 and the walk on situation was just another fishy situation.

The blame I place on Crean for all of this is for not placing more controls on his players. He trusted them and their character to do the right thing.

The players took the liberties they were given, and ran with it. They completely **** all over the trust Crean gave them and the program.

That is why I'm more pissed at them then Crean. He is the leader, and he needed to lead better. He needed to recognize when trusting these kids to do the right thing wasn't working. But you know he loves these guys, and everyone wants to trust those you love. You hope they don't take advantage of that trust, but that's what happened here. Crean's job makes him responsible for this, but it's his players who did the damage.

How can't he be? Hell, I'm excited yesterday is over with. All the coaches knew they'd take that heat eventually when they announced it. That's why they were trying to wait until the season to bury it in basketball news.

Announce it in the summer when it happened and you creat a riot during the summer which does nobody any good. I'm sure they absolutely HATE Jeff Goodman right now.
