I mean he tried using a broken/outdated offensive system, and eventually the league caught on to how horrible it was. Nate's team is more broken in terms of who he has to work with than Vogel too, because apparently Bird has been playing way too much NBA 2K. Look at Orlando, they're horrible. Their roster is broken, but so is the Pacers. Quote
KB0 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I don't understand the hiring of Nate. Should have looked external. Wasn't on board with firing Vogel, either. Quote

I didn't hate moving on from Vogel, he had some serious flaws. But I never liked the McMillan hire. Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I'd take Vogel back in a heartbeat. No way this team would be this bad defensively if he was still here. Brass Cannon 1 Quote

KingPG21 Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 So even with that horrific performance against the Warriors the Pacers have a chance for w 3-2 WC trip. Including at the Clippers. I don't like this roster at all outside of PG, Turner, Teague, and I guess GR3, but people act like the Pacers are horrible, but they aren't and have been playing better recently. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Poor Yogi, he must be living out of his suitcase. Sent back to D-League and then recalled to Brooklyn. Was questionable for last night's game because of a sprained ankle. Gordon playing very well off the bench and had a great shooting night. 2nd straight game VonLeh was a DNP Coach Decision. 12.07.16 Season W/L W/L Min. Pts. IUfan_Charlie Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Monta Ellis is just awful at all aspects of the game at this point. Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 The Pacers are currently down 12 in the fourth quarter to the worst team in the NBA. Remember, they also needed overtime to beat this team at home in addition to the Sixers. Boy, firing Vogel sure took care of a lot of problems, didn't it? Quote
