WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Smith going to Houston. Wonder how that will work out...(spoiler alert: it won't)lots of talent though. The "big" 3 in Harden, Smith, and Howard. Lol Quote
Hovadipo Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 lots of talent though. The "big" 3 in Harden, Smith, and Howard. Lol It would be OK if Smith didn't insist on playing like KD. But he insists on taking 40 shots a game. Maybe it will change on a good team, but I doubt it. Quote

Parakeet Jones Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Seems like there is some unhappiness with Blatt in Cleveland. Maybe Lebron will push for his buddy Cal to get the job after this season. IUsafety 1 Quote
thebigweave Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 [attachment=1509:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1420225840.996114.jpg] Girlfriend took me to the Pacers/Heat game for my birthday on Wednesday, 12th row. Nice to see them play with a little fire like the old days and grit out a win. IUsafety 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Pretty big trade going on tonight. All these details are from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo: NY sends JR Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cleveland. Cleveland sends Dion Waiters to OKC, along with 2 unnamed players to OKC or NY. Still waiting to see what OKC gives Cleveland and/or NY. So yeah, this shakes things up a bit. Quote
sirhoosierlot Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 So basically the Cavs traded for Dion Waiters x3 Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 If Waiters accepts a "role player" role, OKC just got better by leaps and bounds. If he acts like he did at Cleveland, not so much. Cleveland added a chucker and an athlete. Not sure that they improved at all. New York is all about the future. Wouldn't be surprised to see more than a couple picks or young guys in this deal heading there. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Cleveland lost in this trade. OKC markedly improved. Lol, Shumpert and JR Smith! Seriously Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Update: Cleveland is also getting a protected first rounder from OKC. NY is getting Alex Kirk from Cleveland. Quote
ou812dude Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Sixers Win... edit...how do I know this? I've been watching this game for a while now...it's what I turned to about 5 mins into the 2nd half of the IU game... WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Is Cleveland trying to tank for #1 pick??? Lol Sign 1- Lebron sitting long stretch Sign 2- Crappy trade tonight Sign 3- Crappy coach hired Sign 4- Lost to the sixers tonight. I'm being facetious but my word. Quote

Lol Sign 1- Lebron sitting long stretch Sign 2- Crappy trade tonight Sign 3- Crappy coach hired Sign 4- Lost to the sixers tonight. I'm being facetious but my word. I think they're reeling to be honest. They thought things would just click with the talent on the team and ignored their obvious flaws. Pretty hilarious if you ask me. Now they're throwing crap at a wall to see if it sticks. Trading for JR was a big dry one that will NOT stick, if you will. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I'm hearing Lance could be traded to Brooklyn in exchange for Brook Lopez. Quote
Dalton26 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I'm hearing Lance could be traded to Brooklyn in exchange for Brook Lopez. The original deal had Lopez going to OKC but Charlotte isn't involved anymore so it'd be a 2 team trade between Brooklyn/OKC. Quote

Hovadipo Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 I'm actually impressed at the Pacers' offensive ineptitude. 71 points in 4 and a half quarters. Stunning. Quote
KingPG21 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Man....... it thought we'd be bad without PG. But this last stretch kind of sheds a lot of light on how bad they really were offensively last year. Without a great playmaker they are scary bad Quote
