At the same time things seem to always just work out for Pritch. Don’t forget the Pacers didn’t have this 1st rounder until last June when he got it back from NOP a week (?) before Game 7. That’s not a strategy, but it just makes me feel a little better.

RIP to the great Doug Moe. One of the most important coaches ever. His passing game system was 30 years ahead of its time and is the basis for 5 out motion. That he effectively blew up traditional system roles and turned everyone on the floor into facilitators was wild at the time, to the point that a lot of people thought it was literally playground ball.

I really feel like Adam Silver's tenure is circling the drain. Between the tanking (which I don't think is nearly as big of a deal as the discourse is making it out to be) and the general direction the league is going...things aren't great. Fining us while allowing whatever the hell is happening in Sacramento is a friggin' joke.

I'm afraid of two things right now with the Pacers: 

1) They'll start to get healthy, and due to pressure from the league, start winning, sending their pick to the Clippers, or

2) They'll finish in the bottom 4, but the league will rig the lottery to make sure their pick goes to the Clippers.

Play him and tell him to not shoot unless he is under the basket. Or you can do the Utah thing and not play him in the 4th quarter.  The Pacers haven't really tanked before, so this is unusual territory from them.

Saw that Zach Edey needs another ankle surgery. Dude was indestructible for 4 years at Purdue and now that he's in the NBA he can't stay healthy.

Saw the box score and almost spit my drink. Figured he must have just made everything and then saw sub-50% on 43 shot attempts and 36-43 from the line. Actually sounds kind of gross.

Actually gross but earned it. Was just texting someone who watched the game, and he said the Wizards were triple teaming and hacking Bam all game, especially in the 2nd half. Still sounds like an unenjoyable watch.

I watched the 4th quarter. 83 is 83, but it felt wrong. Extremely entertaining however. Kind of surprised there wasn’t a fight because both teams would’ve had a point.
