Not from a team talent standpoint but a recruiting ability stand point.  It makes sense that MSU could come in at the 11th hour and steal a guy.  New coach lot of excitement already established stellar class.  Miami doesn't have that same excitement.  They have been to one tournament in the last 5 years.

MSU had a stellar recruiting class and were still all abuzz from the Howland hiring.  Its understandable a kid would want to be a part of that.  But to lose a recruit to Miami, ugh

I can excuse us losing a recruit at the 11th hour to the MSU situation.  Big Name Coach promising a new culture to the program, great class already locked up.  It would have sucked but it can sorta be excused.

 

But to lose to a guy that has been at a school for 5 years and been inconsistent is just sad.  And yeah he won the ACC but then followed it up with 17-16 year.

Yeah but we put in the work on Brown.  Not as much as Davis but still alot of work.  We weren't coming in at the last minute to poach him.
