He is darn good though.  I was hoping he would jettison and end up playing Euro Leagues.  Pretty smart on his part to return.  Not a lot of GOOD bigs next year in the BIG TEN, he could be pretty dominant.

 

He can always be dominant... his work ethic is the issue.

Even if it's McGary, this is a tough way to go out be it that it was his own undoing.

 

I am not pointing and laughing at this because this could EASILY have been an IU player.

 

That is nothing we need right now.

There's no better way to make sure a kid doesn't finish his degree and stay in college than banning him for an entire year. The NCAA cares about "student athletes" like North Korea cares about freedom of speech

Good point. they could at least pretend that they are trying to make sure he gets educated and doesn't make the same mistake again, instead of slapping that entire year long ban on him..  wtf, a whole year? for smoking?  this dude is 21 years old, let's take it easy NCAA. he's not sticking himself with needles or PEDs.

Not B1G, but reports are that the Harrison twins are coming back to UK next season. They are going to be absurdly talented if that's the case. Official announcement coming any minute now. 

 

Will their success match their talent? Will it take all the way until the NCAA tournament for them to figure it out again? Either way, get ready for another long offseason of all things Kentucky as they will for sure be the preseason #1.

If UK doesn't win it all next year id consider it a monumental coaching failure. Their roster will legitimately have like 9 five stars... Half of which have ncg experience
