I will try that. My brother-in-law (8th grade) is coming to visit us for his Spring Break next week, so we will do plenty of fishing. Probably start first thing Sunday morning or Saturday night. I'm going back to Rend Lake for a bunch of Crappie and Buffalo, and will be going to Kentucky Lake for the first time. I don't know anything about Kentucky Lake, let alone what side of the lake we will be on. It's a family vacation, and my parents made it clear they don't want to do anything other than relax at the Lake House. You won't catch me complaining because I will be on the dock or in the canoe fishing.

I've fished out of a canoe before, caught a pretty nice crappie.  Then I fell out of said canoe when I went to get back on shore.

Unfortunately haven't caught much. My dad had a nice catfish, but by the time I made it over to get it, it worked it's way off the hook. Hoping tomorrow will be a better day!

I caught a few of these, but this was by far the biggest one. I'm not too sure what it is, but a few of my friends think it could be a Lady Fish. I looked it up and it looks almost identical. They are a blast to catch because they are like torpedo's when you set the hook.

Here are some of the catfish we caught (two were mine). The picture doesn't do it justice, but one was about 7 or 8lbs, while the other two were about 4 or 5. I wanted to get a better picture holding my fish, but it got too dark and we let some other people take them.
