I'm skeptical ever since he sat out this last game. Crean said the day before he would play, then he says he's not comfortable playing. Sounds like a little birdie was in his ear telling him not to play. Noah doesn't seem like the type of player that just wouldn't play. Think someone told him to sit I not affect his draft stock. Will be interesting to see if he plays again this year.

That is exactly how I feel about the situation.  I thought he would be back pretty confidently 1 month ago but him missing these last 2 games the way he has, tells me you are exactly right.  He is mocked at #5-8.  Not much he can do to improve his stock, but he could easily hurt his stock.  For the record, I hate, absolutely hate the one and done rule.

I don't know why NBA GM's aren't drooling over accomplished players like Fair, Kilpatrick (UofC), TJ Warren, Payne, Napier, Cory Jefferson, Ejim, Russ Smith, etc.

These guys have proven they can dominate year after year and continue to polish their games.  I realize the argument of upside BUT.........

Injuries can also hamper draft stock. I realize Noah didn't tear his ACL, but look at Noel, who had a decent season up to that point, got injured, then still talked about going first overall up until draft night.

I also realize there is very little defense that is played in the league, but Noah seems to struggle playing D on people either bigger than him or faster than him; his lateral movement leaves something to be desired, at least for me. He picks up easy fouls, and that has taken him out of several games this year.

I give him a 60% chance of staying

I tend to agree with you on the point that injuries can affect draft stock. Especially this year as this class is loaded with "potential." Why would I want someone in a boot, when I can get an injury free prospect?

With the injury stuff it is definitely worth noting that foot injuries are never easy to come back from. And I know recently at least there have been a lot of big guys who have had their careers ended, or diminished by foot injuries. A lot of the time it ends up being a reoccurring issue for big guys, so I understand any concern the guy has over it.

You are high. We only had four year players bc we were bad for a stretch.

Not that I agree with your analysis, but if what you say about where Noah struggles is true, he should leave. Quickness doesn't always improve much. He risks falling in draft status because of lack of improvement in those areas by staying.

Got to say that he is going to leave...and will probably end up like Cody.  The NBA has sucked and will continue to suck the life right out of college hoops.  Sad...just sad.

I hope that I am wrong.

He's like the Cheeze It commercial. He's not ready or mature enough yet.
He's got a lot of talent but is he ready for the Asscociation?
I think not.
At least.... I HOPE not.

Thats what everyone said about Cody too though...

I still am amazed that CZ went to the NBA. His last few games toward the end of the season were terrible. It's like he didn't know "come here from sic em".... After that debacle I can't say I was sorry to see him go.

My gut tells me he is staying. You keep hearing little chirps that he is staying, but everyone is just assuming that he will leave. We won't know until April, but my gut just has him staying.

I don't think there was much more improving Cody could do and this year's draft was supposed to be stacked (false) so he left. Noah has exponentially more room to grow and develop compared to Cody.

An extra year of college ball won't hurt, but that's his decision and I don't think there is a wrong one.
