I see some places they are saying midseason is actually in August when he will be at College.....Other sources are saying December as the definition of midseason. He may be a more accurate weatherman, but still a weatherman. These guys make guesses based on the info they have today, it's always changing as we know.

I think it's been the fad the past few years to build super teams of one-and-dones down at UK.  It just doesn't have the same appeal to kids anymore. Kids want to make their mark on a program, not blend in, even if it is for only a year. That's why I think UK might be struggling this year. We'll see what happens in the coming seasons. (Having said all that, they will probably still have the #1 recruiting class, but no where near as good as the past 5, 6 years)

right. Weathermen can predict the weather much better than me though. I think Meyer and his connections is the best "weatherman". He is right a preponderance of times. Wrong sometimes. He does shift his opinion a lot but recruits do too.

Looking at other fan sites today...

 

Kansas = all good now with the recruitment of Diallo, cold on the Thon trail.

UK = Mixed emotions, says there is too much controversy (but would take him based on the latest fall out) to take on, luke warm.

IU = also luke warm on a mid-year recruitment.

ASU = is all in on this recruit and right now looks to be the favorite.

 

Again, no facts, just barometer readings.

What school is going to hold out a scholarship for him? My guess is ASU. I don't see pUKe or any other big school taking that risk and if IU were to go that route I'd be very disappointed. Undermines the idea of academics and takes playing time from the players that have been there all summer busting their asses to improve.
