JSHoosier Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Sad thing is that 1932 "championship" was awarded retroactively because the Helms foundation didn't even exist at the time. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

ALASKA HOOSIER Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I think i want us to win this game more than any other game so far this season. This game means so much for the team and fans by giving us a guaranteed tourney bid (I believe) and bring us a possible double bye bid for the B1G tourney. Boiler down~ Quote

FortWayneHoosier Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 pulled this from GoldandBlack.com The freshmen will experience an arena quite like when the go to IU. In fact, let's take a look at a list of things we know for a fact have happened there in the past: Lopsided officiating Racial slurs hurled at the team Things thrown at the players as they sit on the bench People actually walking on to the court while play is going (see the E'Twaan incident) Painter called every name in the book Yogi pushing off AJH, Haas and Ray already have 3 fouls Lopsided officiating (it's so bad it's worth announcing twice) Crean walking on the court Make no mistake, this is IU's super bowl, national title game and Olympics all wrapped up in to one game. The subway alumns will go out of their way to try and make us believe IU is relevant somehow and it KILLS them that they aren't and on top of that, we own them head to head. If Purdue wins, I fully expect there to be a fry cook and pizza delivery shortage the next day as IU grads call in sick from misery. my response: (I find it hilarious that this is somehow our Superbowl, olympics........but if you go on there site they have 6 or more threads about IU, but we have one lol.................) mamasa, CR3AMnCR1MS0N, ALASKA HOOSIER and 3 others 6 Quote
ALASKA HOOSIER Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 God d@#% I hate Purdue! They are such arrogant SOBs and need a throatpunch. here is my rebuttal for those "holier than thou". Lopsided officiating- in favor of Purdue Racial slurs hurled at the team- Total BS! They are saying this to be victims. Things thrown at the players as they sit on the bench- Yeah, so what? Maybe because we hate Purdue and the players. People actually walking on to the court while play is going (see the E'Twaan incident)- Sorry, but we have lots of fans and we fill the stands for most of our games....especially the game against the inbreds from the north. so, our fans have to find a way through the crowd that goes on the court. Painter called every name in the book- F that muppet looking twerp Yogi pushing off- because he has your players hands all over him! AJH, Haas and Ray already have 3 fouls- Because the refs know that they will deserve them during the game. Might as well save some time and take care of it early. Lopsided officiating (it's so bad it's worth announcing twice)- yes, it does! Crean walking on the court- it's called coaching turd stabber! Naturalhoosier 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I've never heard a racial slur thrown at any player, at any game, at any level I've been to in my life. And I haven't seen anything thrown except for Illinois fans throwing drinks at the Gordons when Eric played there. FortWayneHoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER and Hutch89 3 Quote

See, this is why I can't hate Purdue. If we're not relevant, then what does that make them? We're so irrelevant we seep into their every thought. And their all-time head to head lead was built pre-WWII, we've owned them for like the past 70 years. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
