I think everyone would be quite alright with getting at least one of these guys. Like many have said before, we need to get 2 of the big 4 in state (Wilkes, Scruggs, Jackson, Williams).

Would prefer Williams and Wilkes. That's a long shot though at this point. I could see us losing Scruggs which would be painful for sure.

Its funny a cpl months ago we all pegged Scruggs as ours to lose and Wilkes was probably going elsewhere and now its the opposite. Wilkes is the best option we have to get, so if we do only get one I'd love it to be him. His game would fit good anywhere, but I really like the fit in our system with him. If Scruggs comes too I'd be estactic, but we could lose momentum in the blink of an eye, so I'm hoping the coaching staff goes all in to get a commitment asap!!

Under Armour-All American Camp Wednesday night standouts:  Kris Wilkes was one of the biggest names coming into camp and showed exactly why this was the case on Wednesday night. He scored in a variety of ways and finished the game with 15 points. Wilkes is both a threat off the bounce and the catch. Indiana, Maryland, UCLA, Michigan and more have heavily recruited him.

Squarely in the mix as one of the top three players in camp is five-star small forward Kris Wilkes. After a solid start Wednesday, the No. 17 ranked player in the class of 2017 had a huge game to start things off Thursday. In a highly efficient outing, Wilkes went for 26 points, five rebounds and a pair of assists. He remains open, but Indiana, Maryland, Ohio State, Xavier and UCLA look like they could be making a push.

Inside the Hall has an article on Wilkes today:

- He likely won't make a decision until next spring.

- IU keeps telling him that he is their guy, which he said he hopes is all true.

- Has planned an official visit to ucla in August.

- plans to cut his list at the end of the month and cut teams out during the season as well.

Love his responses about IU. Also love that he's cutting out schools that haven't offered by the end of the month. If I'm not wrong, that includes Kentucky?

As pap said before if we could land a big fish it could get the ball rolling. I really think Wilkes, whether in fall or spring, is as close to a must get as there is for IU in 2017.

If Wilkes waits till spring the he can't be the big fish the get the ball rolling. We need it to roll quicker so hopefully someone else can get it going.

We have not really gotten many of the top Indiana kids in the same class since the movement. Would really be nice to grab a two or three this year since this is such a strong IN class

He doesn't have to sign or announce it. I'm sure these kids talk about where they want to go or where they're leaning. A core of Wilkes and Scruggs with a big from outside the state would be amazing!
