mamasa Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Columbus/Bartholomew County experiencing major flooding. This is Mill Race Park- the part above water is the top of the amphitheater. 3 days of no school (several roads under water), one person missing (possibly chose to kayak on extremely dangerous river). My area is ok but hearing military helicopters go over every 15 minutes is unnerving (I live near a military area). Praying for those affected (several neighborhoods have been evacuated)Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app HoosierAloha, ALASKA HOOSIER and ThompsonHoosier 3 Quote

pappy1865 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Back in the need for thoughts and prayers. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I'm unemployed. Got a few good leads, but nothing solid yet. Also, got notification today that Brit intends to file for full custody, even though we've had joint since September last year. I'm having a hard time with this. I do have the pretty blonde still, but, I don't want to dump on her the issues I'm having getting through the last part of this divorce. Naturalhoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER and mamasa 3 Quote

lucel15 Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 For those that sent vibes and wished for a good surgery. Just got an update. They are keeping her over night due to very low levels of potassium in her blood.....they thought they could get the count up by noon today, but it is slowly being absorbed into bloodstream....so surgery will be tomorrow morning given her count has risen to a safe level to perform the surgery. mamasa, LockdownD, HoosierAloha and 1 other 4 Quote
lucel15 Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Update. Surgery started a little while ago. Just got a call....surgery can’t go any further basically has cancer cells that were not detected are encasing her organs and it’s an aggressive type of what will probably be carcinoma from what this vet has seen in past animals....so thank you to all who sent good vibes and thoughts this way. Going to try to spend as much time as possible keeping her comfortable until it is too much. Stuhoo, Dalton26, Red1 and 2 others 5 Quote

I had a cat that we rescued when people nearby moved away and come to find out they had beaten her badly. My family took her in and she became the most loving cat in the world. About a year ago she had trouble walking so my dad took her to the vet and found out she was ate up with Leukemia. My dad didnt want her when we first got her but after my brothers and I moved out and my parents split up he kept her because she hid and wouldnt leave with anyone and they ended up growing so close that I watched my father who I had never seen cry standing there sobbing when they told him it would be best to put her down. They arent just pets, they become like family. My thoughts are with you man. lucel15, HoosierAloha and mamasa 2 1 Quote
