Don’t know who it is but some time after AAU season last year Moody found a great freaking shooting coach. His footwork used to be a little sloppy and his release was a little flat. Not a bad stroke, just not great. Then his high school games looked a fair bit better and now after another couple of months after the season it’s tight as a drum and they all look like they’re going in. That dude earned his money.

Looks very soft, in a good waym repeatable and with touch. Its going to go in plenty..

all 3 FR can shoot it. You can tell Manhertz needs to eat about 400 dinners and have about 700 weight room sessions before he's able to be where he needs to be...

But he'll flick it, for sure.

Looked like Lindsay turned an ankle.

Sisley was not good.

Karvala was everything and everywhere. It wasn’t just the shooting; he had many assists and I’m not sure I saw him turn it over. He consistently played hard. His free throw stroke is super clean. He rebounded out of his space. He was sooooo active. Wow.

if we can put ten pounds on Karvala? He is ready to play. Now. Prince is already ready to play now.

These freshmen are really going to push the other guys to be on their A game or risk losing playing time.

Two of them-yes. I don’t think that Manhertz will defend well enough to play this season.

It’s only July. If Karvala can get stronger in the next four months, he’s going to be an immediate unexpected real contributor. The kid played with fearless energy again tonight, and he did so without playing sloppy.

Karvala looks special Moody looks really good. This team hopefully will keep improving.
I feel we are going to be deeper than most thought. I know the competition is lacking but see some really good talent. Plenty I don’t like one I think we shoot to many long threes and a lot early in the shot clock.

But to me you can always find open space for threes regardless of the competition now obviously this isn’t pressure like come big ten but if he can make threes at a high rate he will def make a huge impact

Karvala is a high upside kid, but after seeing him against EYBL competition this past season, I don't expect him to be a major contributor this year. Would love him to prove me wrong.

I think our freshmen could be really good as sophomores. Add borderline top 25 freshman Branham, JR Sisley, and a few seniors from this years team and 27-28 could be a very good year.

Anyone know the reason for Alexis being there? Just helping fill a spot with the big guy out? I mean realistically what's the likelihood he could even play next season? 0.00001%?

Class of 2022 was omitted from the 5 for 5 rule for some reason and somebody shared a link, I think earlier in this thread, to a story where some players got a temporary injunction from a court. Not sure the odds, but doesn't seem totally minuscule.

NCAAs track record in court almost guarantees the kids win
