2.  1990  World Series Championship

3.  1987 NCAA Basketball Championship

4.  2006  Super Bowl XLI

Championships by teams I’ve been a lifelong fan of:

2025 Hoosiers

2005 White Sox

1987 Hoosiers

1985 Bears

1995/96 Bulls

There’s something special when a team that you’re heavily invested in that has had zero success suddenly conquers all.

1. 2025 Hoosiers

just an honor to see good kids with elite fundies beat everyone.

2.2007 Giants beating undefeated Patriots

3. 2011 Giants beating the patriots again ( I attended)

4. 1993-94 Rangers Stanley Cup

5. 1990  Giants winning it

Didn’t become a Hoosier until 2000.

For me, I would have to rank it as #1 just for the fact that I would have never thought it would happen.  I am listing game I watched only.  Otherwise, the 1976 championship would be listed.

1. 2025 Hoosier Football (Mendoza Drive)

2. 1987 Hoosier Basketball (Smarts shot)

3. 2007 Colts Football (Payton's first)

4. 1990 Reds WS (Nasty Boys)

5. 1981 Hoosier Basketball (Isiah Thomas)

I’ve got some pro teams I cheer for, but I only really care about IU sports.  Plus I prefer college sports with the tribalism/passion and varying cultures and traditions across the programs.  I don’t feel the connection as much to pro sports, which I find much more homogenous and less interesting.  Anyways:

1. IUFB ‘25

-- A gap the size of 1,000 Grand Canyons --

2. Colts ‘07 SB
