We lived in Plainfield until recently and our kids went to PHS as well. Still follow oe keep track of the Quakers

Don't know how, but Plainfield has remained a very nice town, despite being at Indy's back door. Good, classy people. My kids played basketball against Plainfield for years and it was always a nice event.

One of my favorite Purdue stats. We played them 12 times in soccer.  They scored 3 goals.  The fewest goals we scored was 3 in a game. They needed 12 games to get a tie against our worst performance.

That's impressive. What school?

Looking at Purdue they might be in trouble next year.  They lose a lot of contributors. And even if Painter wants to reload in the portal assuming he can his system has always benefitted from guys playing multiple seasons.

I’m not saying they will suck. But their window to win a NC might have already closed.

Man, if I had a dollar for every time I've said this, I'd have about $15.

Just bumping this thread as a reminder that Purdue sucks and has no championships. Man, they are garbage. Lol

21 months ago they were in the CBB Championship game and everyone picked IUFB to finish around the bottom two in the conference for the upcoming 2024 season.  IUBB just finished like #100 in the NET.  They were flying high.  We were on the ropes.

Then as we know they got what has to be an all-time blindside punch.  Like a Holmes/Tyson/Foreman clean shot right to the chin.  Or liver.

It cracks me up every time I think about it.  16-0 CFB natty hahahahha.

Oh that's right. I'd forgotten it was a practice but always imagined some of Bob's best halftime rants came during Purdoo games.

there is a good one from a PU game. it's out there.

Really?  Zero chance in my mind.  They will have a good team again even if they have a drop off. He’s young and near the top.

When was the last time he didn't have a competive team. He always finds a way to be competive.

We kind of lucked into moving there in ‘98 when we moved back from the Chicago area.  Kind of wanted a few other places before we started looking but we just kept finding Plainfield had what we wanted. The town really grew up well and is a great place, top 10 schools, great trails, close to the airport and Indy.  Our sports teams haven’t done as well as our neighbor schools but the admins, coaches and parents help make things top notch. Pretty classic, kind of Plain Indiana town
