There are 5 Indiana basketball games in a month that are only on Peacock.

NBC has their new NBC Sports channel. If you have YouTube TV it is on there. I read yesterday that all the peacock basketball games will appear on there. If true and you have YouTube TV you can cancel Peacock. FYI.

And if you have a mute button, use it cuz it's the beginning of a steady flow of Robert Hummel.

Indiana is a paper tiger after blowing some teams out.

I don't think we're a paper tiger, that's a bit of a stretch imo. We are a fairly talented team that has the ability to compete well but that also isn't deep enough athletically to compete in the top of the B1G. We couldn't hold the lead against Neb, that falloff was just plain bad, and is concerning, but the big lead the team had reflects its level of ability. Where we actually are as of now, among other things

- 11th in effective field goal % defense (35th in field goal % D)

- 42nd in defensive efficiency

- 55th in scoring offense (84.5)

- 57th in scoring defense (68 points), averaging 10 3-points a game (at 36% avg)

- 65th overall in limiting TO's

Getting the O to more consistently play to the level of the D seems to remain a challenge, but when they're hitting the team is capable of beating just about anyone. sure would be nice if Tucker can get back to the level of play he showed early on, he's been off and slow lately, not sure what the deal is there.

What happened to the foreign players? I thought one of them was hurt, but I haven't seen either play or listed on the availability reports so far this year.

Ristic isn't good enough and the big kid is a red shirt. Doesn't seem to be very high chance that we'll see either of them at IU next year.

Is that your personal take Stu? Ristic played well in some of the early games.

It’s my take based on him not seeing the court except for during mop up time.

Agree—he had some flashes in Puerto Rico.

JMO but I'd think the international kids are more likely to stay at IU than Harris, Drake, and MAYBE Miles.

Not aware how many instances there have been of Euro players transferring within CBB. Seems like more than usual paperwork would be involved? But more importantly, I'd think they agreed to a development plan during the recruiting process and wouldn't give up on it after one season. That's me assuming, of course.

Harris and Drake have been injured most of their time at IU. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

I'd like to retain as much of the roster as possible so we can do our portal shopping more efficiently.

Interestingly we have had a positive track record against MSU recently. Might be factoring into his thoughts

Different teams, different coaches. Woody did ok vs Purdue and MSU because those games often turn into a battle for the paint. That won’t be good for this team.

Unless we just go hog wild from 3, I fear this could get ugly.
