Post-game one of the IU players said Enright had been talking non-stop about guarding Haggerty the previous three days.

He may get overmatched at some point but he is a “dog” and quickly becoming my favorite player.

Quick, name our gritty “dog” last year……The correct answer is: no one.

Some definite Sheehy comparisons. Memories of him pissing of the entire PU crowd while talking smack… love it, Enright fits the bill

Was impressed with Conerway. He looked much better on defense. He still is learning to finish in traffic at the rim but I think he might get there.

So weird that we’re getting by on the strength of our defense after averaging 100 ppg the first three games. But that’s probably a good thing come conference time.
Conerway plays better when he wears the afro then he does with the braided hair.

I was in town for the game and it was so much fun. A very good atmosphere too. It was so refreshing to see players play hard. You really notice it when attending the game. We had balance scoring and Bailey improved drastically throughout the game. Enright, although not flashy, is a type of player this program has needed for a long time. He gets up in the opponent’s face. He’s a “pest.” I’m really glad he’s on our team.

I watched on TV the effort is noticeable. We are much quicker than in the past. Maybe ever.
