I think a lot of us knew going into this year that length might be an issue...well, you can't teach length and athleticism and Baylor is superior in both those areas. It's quite noticeable. They are outrebounding us, have a big advantage in 2nd chance points and are forcing us off the 3 point line with their length.

Yep. It’s kind of “their thing.”  Not many B1G teams are gonna be able to press our weaknesses like this. But it’s still a good benchmark.

Also, quick positive thing in the Coach DD column: you counter a team like Baylor with back cuts and that’s exactly what you’re seeing.

Wilkerson and Devries are our best players. We need a 3rd man to step up. Sisley would be a good candidate. Bailey / Alexis and Miles haven't shown much.

Wild Card could be Dorn. He hasn't played. I think he's injured still.

We knew what we were in for. The goal is winning, attracting talent, and playing a pleasing style of basketball; taking a reasonable volume of 3s does all those.

Check that… down five at half. Our veteran team did not get rattled when down 12–they adjusted. Now let’s get some of those great three point looks to fall!

Woodys aversion to shooting 3s was ridiculous. I’m not defending that. I’m just saying shooting threes isn’t some magic the elixir. We’ve been at our best today on offense getting behind their pressure. 
 

also, our defense is starting to show a little cohesion. With our athleticism, we need to play team defense and when we do, we’ve gotten some stops.
