Hemby is different from Ellison and maybe better in some ways, although I loved Ellison.

Mendoza doesn’t look anything like Rourke in any measure.

At this point, I’d rather have Tayven out there.

Rourke was incredibly accurate and “made the layups” consistently. Hopefully Mendoza settles in better. Several of his throws could have been picks.
The offensive line needs to start winning at the goal line.
Hoping for a convincing second half.

Fernando is nervous. He’ll calm down. So many mistakes. Cigs PO’d.

I think you are right. However Rourke only looked nervous, second half vs Michigan and the Ohio State game.  Hopefully he will settle in.
I could use a 25 yrs back shoulder throw to Sarratt right about now.  Doesn’t Mendoza know he’s always open??  lol.

That sums up the first half perfectly.  I’m genuinely concerned about Mendoza.

How do you ever get any sleep with all your IU sports concerns?

Hemby looks good. Play calling at goal line bad. Mendoza no where near Rourke level. Hopefully he adjusts but seems like he’s got some work to do

Goal line play calling sucks!

Mendoza was shaky - hopefully just first game jitters. He's 50%, but missed on everything down field. IU is pretty much running at will, but having trouble finishing.

Cig will get them settled down at half and we'll see a different mindset in the second half. Get the ball to Sarratt.

And what in the world was Hemby thinking with that toss to Mendoza? That could have been bad in so many ways.

Let's go Hoosiers. And BBQ that freaking Bison.
