Allmond listed at 6'8" attends John Marshall HS in Richmond, VA and plays AAU on the 3SSB circuit for Team Loaded (VA).   He was the VHSL Class 2 Player of the Year.  Rod Clark is our point man on this recruitment.

Rod Clark has been involved with him for a while, UT offered September 2023.

Started out as an undersized 5 but has become more of a 4 who can now guard both positions. Sounds like he's a very good defensive player who can block shots and get steals.

In yesterday's AAU game he scored 25 pts on 9-12 FG and grabbed 5 reb.

Has on OV to IU set for next week, June 17-18.

In addition to the prior relationship with Clark, he also knows Kenny Johnson. Says he's "my guy" and was recruiting him for GT.

Is it just me or does he only look to be 6'5"-6'6"?  Still would be a great addition.

Really hope we can lock in Sammy Jackson  and Latrell to kick off our 26 class.

Rabs had a random “recruiting tidbit” this morning, (sometimes these are notable sometimes they’re not), that he is continuing to hear from his contacts that IU is in strong contention for LA.
