Only played 8 games after.  Had big games against SJU and UCONN as well.

It is. But that could also be due to mostly non-con before the injury versus conference after the injury. Maybe a combination of both.

I hope both he and DeVries recover completely from their shoulder injuries and return to pre-injury form.

20% reduction in 3pt shooting? lol

1/1-- 18p 9a 4r 2s vs the 2-time defending champ

12/21--- 12p 6a 7r vs NW

12/17- 12p 3a 1r vs St Johns

really... his worse games were the first 3 games of the year vs. USI, Prairie View, and Mercer.

So no, it wasn't due to level of competition at all

I'm not sure what the amount of games matter, he avged 32MPG post injury

He separated his shoulder and after 8 games he ended up having surgery is the point.  His shooting percentages dropped significantly after that.  That’s the point….

So if we get Bailey and Pack we would have this:

PG: Pack, Enright

SG:

SF: DeVries/Sisley

PF: Goode (see no way he doesn’t get another year. When a game is played doesn’t matter in football so it won’t hold up in basketball)

C: Bailey

Need to focus in on some athletic multi level threats at SG. Then get some depth. Get a couple more freshmen as well.

Uhhh... Yea pretty much. Though DeVries and Sisley would be the PF.

I could see that. I think they will play both.

Sisley and DeVries are PF, they aren’t 3s.

Sisley is a 4 and a small ball 5.  If they play the 3 are defense will be atrocious.

I’m out of loop. Who is Bailey?

Reed Bailey, 6'10" F, Davidson College, A-10 First Team, rumored to be favoring IU allegedly posted on Trilly.  Unconfirmed as yet.  1 year of eligibility.

From the below link comments, fans posted: He can operate as a point forward (41% from 3) and can score from the blocks. He can use either hand near the basket and has a quick first step to take his man off the dribble. He passes well (3+ assists per game) and can handle the ball in transition. No idea about his defense, guarding a power forward. At 6’10, he is not a center and IU would still need a power forward and an athletic center.

Fan sites had UK, now getting interest all over...some say it is a done deal.  Dunno.  IU basketball transfer portal names to know: Davidson’s Reed Bailey – The Daily Hoosier

I'm going to be honest I haven't watched any film of the guy, but Bailey can play 4 and 5 correct?

That group would mightly struggle to rebound.

Sisley is not a small ball 5. Not even close.

We don't really have a "4" position. He played two 3/4s at WVU... Tucker and Okani.

This may be an awful comparison so forgive me, but from what I've seen from Sisley, he reminds me in a way of Karaban from UConn. Not saying they are at all the same player, just the way they play. We all will do backflips if Sisley is as good as Karaban has been.

As for Reed Bailey, assuming Bama and UK wanted him, I assume he may play a similar role that Grant Nelson (Bama) or Andrew Carr (UK) did this year.

For Tucker, someone said this on here earlier and I agree, it seems like Tucker is a 3 on offense and a 4 on defense.

I’ll be honest if we truly are getting the Texas tech coach I wish we would push hard and overpay for that freshman from Texas Tech. Not sure if he’s a shooting guard or point guard but if he’s a point guard I’d want him over pack without second thoughts
