I'm not sure he should be getting a grade on Cignetti yet. I'm enjoying the hell out of this year, but if we don't hold on to Cignetti things would likely go downhill quickly. You would see the same mass exodus JMU did last year.

Fired? Not yet. Depends how everything continues.

Cig? A+ so far.

Moren- A

Woody- C

Adidas-   B

Baseball-  D+  B

Soccer- B-(due more to the insanely high expectations of IU soccer)

Fixed it for you. He made the right decision on extending with Adidas. Baseball has been very solid under Mercer.

Why was Adidas the right decision?

Adidas was willing to give more money and IU is a top 3 school for them. For Nike IU was going to be just another school and they weren't going to get the same amount of money in the deal. If I was to guess a lack of football success has killed these negotiations in the past.

Can you imagine Nike with the success of the football team now. I agree Adidas was the safe bet but sometimes gotta take an educational chance. We could of had 2-3 special football unis by now.

Where is it said that we are behind Nebraska?

It's based on the amount of money the program is getting from their adidas contract.

Money wise, we are behind multiple schools. I know better the best deal we were behind Nebraska and Washington. Outside of that, Kansas and Louisville are ahead of us. I'm not sure on Texas A&M, Miami or Arizona State. We aren't a flagship program of Adidas. We are just a program that happens to be signed with them.
