Indiana covered the spread, where I got it, against FIU. Idk where it ended.

Closed at 25.5 so we don’t get credit for it when the stat is brought up.

I’ve picked IU to win every game this season but not sure who I will pick for this weekend.

In Cig I trust but after the Michigan game a few things give me pause:

Our OL didn’t handle UM’s DL and I can see us having the same issues vs OSU. Acknowledge that we had to sub in a guy on Thursday, so he only worked with the starters for a day, but OSU really has some studs on the DL as did UM.

In the second half of the UM game Rourke looked kind of rattled. If that happens at OSU we will have issues.

Can we run vs OSU? Protect Rourke?

I seem to be in the minority but think the crowd will have an impact. Very important for us to get off to a quick start.

I'm kind of the same way..my heart says IU and my gut says OSU in a close one. We will see how I feel throughout the week lol.

What is crazy is Indiana just had their way with the Michigan defense for the first half. Stupid PI call and it's likely 21-3. For the life of me I don't understand what adjustments Michigan made for them to only score 3 points in the second half. It certainly all starts up front. I don't think OSU has the Defensive Tackles Michigan had. Graham and Grant both projected top 20 picks.

A quick start I think is necessary. Can't play from behind all game.

You are correct about Graham and Grant (ELITE) but on the other hand, in the PFF NFL draft rankings, OSU has NINE of the top 70 prospects. NINE guys slated to go in the first two rounds. Crazy talent/depth.

I love Coach Cignetti's approach to this game, specifically. He preaches, personifies and models his "blueprint". The press is continually making loaded comments and submitting to the hype (paraphrased)... "YOU DO REALIZE YOU'RE GETTING READY TO PLAY POTENTIALLY THE BEST TEAM IN THE NATION, RIGHT?"

He always stays even keil, "not too high, not too low" and always delivers a refreshing, locked in form of confidence that is infectious. He believe and expects this team to go in Ohio State and beat them with sound assurance. I love it!

Nicole Auerbach has backed us all week in the insane social media discourse and then drops this piece of crap this morning lol. I think I'm ready for this to be over.

Surely she meant seeds and not rankings. Has to be. This would make us ranked 9th, seeded 11th. Still trash at the moment. But it highlights my nightmare scenario where the most recent memory of us is sneaking by Michigan, then we were idle while UGA got a "big" win. And if you rank GA ahead of us, you also have to rank Ole Miss ahead of us b/c they just beat Georgia while we were sneaking past Michigan and oh wait Georgia can't jump Alabama b/c they lost to Alabama so they have to move in front of Indiana as well.....

Hers is a projection of the final rankings which, unlike for Penn State, kills us for losing to Ohio State. Because that tracks!

I keep hanging on to hope that they continue using the same logic for us as the weeks wind down.

ESPN’s first question on the bracket show is if Indiana will get an idea of what a loss will do by looking at BY FREAKING U!!! WHO LOST TO A BELOW .500 TEAM AT HOME. COMPARED TO LOSING TO #2 IN THE COUNTRY. ON THE ROAD.

Same old story.

Booger loves us.

Galloway loves to diss us.

Galloway disses us. Big time.

The thing that absolutely BLOWS is that ESPN keeps referencing our 106th SOS, according to their metrics, while virtually every other ranking sites have our SOS at 55-62 or so.  Just total BS.

A bit scary that BYU dropped 8. We absolutely can’t get blown out.

I thought Booger was going to commit homicide on air when Galloway tried blowing off his (VERY VALID) point that 2024 IU and 2023 Michigan have similar resumes.

This was a good start. Had they dropped us this week, with no logic as to why, we’d be doomed if we lost this weekend.

Yep, if we get blown out, it's over. A competitive loss, and we'll likely get a road game. Win is the obvious outcome. LETS GO!!!
