Indiana if we want to be good next year also aren’t going to be great getting 2 or 3 solid freshman which we don’t have yet. We will need another portal haul if we are trying to be a top 25 team. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Louisville Cardinals 2024 College Basketball Transfer Portal Latest Activity https://share.google/dkLbfh26Nhzn4Aoxm This doesn't look like a portal class that was paid a whole lot. They only had a couple of players from high major programs Quote

I am not sure but they didn't have to many many high major transfers Year to year? UL and Indiana acted similar in the transfer portal year 1. Mid major kids and some under recruited guys. UL swung big in year 2. This next class will be DeVries year 2 plus the portal to end the season. Time will tell. Quote

UL did well in the first year with that approach and think Devries will do better in year 2. He is off to a good start with the 2027 with the commitment of Branham HoosierHoopster 1 Quote

IU ran with them and won 97-93. Packer said that about IU all the time thinking RMK always slowed the game down but that isn't the case My favorite IU game to watch. If the rumors are true RMK started the practice before the UNLV game with them running the break and Alford hit a 3 on one of the first trips down and RMK stopped practice and said that’s it. I feel like that's very similar to the Allmond situation as well - likes IU a ton but Maryland (which he has not yet even visited) is coming in at the last minute with big $$$ Edited October 9 by HoosierDevils Quote

Don’t think we were ever going to get both of them anyways. Allmond has a really good relationship with one of our assistant (Kenny) and equal relationship with one of OK states assistants. Maryland is dropping a load for him- which makes the relationships part sort of similar to the situation I described above. But more for OK state rather than us. I would assume if we don’t get Allmond / Taylor our offer may rise some. I know I’m a broken record at this point but you’ve got to assume adidas wants him at IU. They should / need to help us out. Imagine you’re right about a Thompson offer going up under those circumstances. Would also think a Diane offer would get really spicy. And, yeah, Adidas needs to start taking care of this program rather than continuing to treat it like East Bumphrey Nowhere State. sweetpain, WayneFleekHoosier, Home Jersey and 2 others 5 Quote

Hey Anthony you will be making a ton of money in the NBA soon enough. Take a little less now and be a Hoosier. You will be well coached and the fans will love you. jermhoosierfan 1 Quote

Will the Kansas name still garner top Adidas attention? I think Louisville might be slightly ahead of us in Adidas eyes. Maybe we are 3rd? I’m not sure. Quote
