Fire Coach Woodson Thread

I don't think they will make it but anything can happen. The question is if this was his last year why in the world did they give him 6 million?

There were stories at the time that Buckner got the Cooks and the Simons to commit to a large NIL bucket prop Woodson up to allow him to "prove" that he brought IU back ... and that he would then "ride off into the sunset" as the guy who did, in fact, bring IU back ... remember he was a "bridge" coach whose purpose was to unite the fan base (old and new) and restore the shine to the program ... of course, we are seeing how well that played out.

Of course quinn was behind it I just cannot believe they were dumb enough to fall for it. The uniting the base thing is laughable. He has done the opposite

He was bridge demolition so from a certain point of view he was a bridge coach.

All he did was throw money at a bunch of highly ranked transfers. Did he even attempt to determine if they would be good fits? Not likely. Nothing was really that impressive about it given how much money he had. But the twitter cult crowded him a recruiting king.

Exactly. The real problem he has is he don’t know what system he really runs, he’s never recruited before and he doesn’t know what types of players would be good for whatever system he thinks he runs.  He just goes out and tries to recruit the highest ranked recruits he can, no matter what style they can and cannot play

Because he convinced them he could win using portal players and he just needs to be the highest bidder.  Basically he is proving himself wrong, lol

The only thing they propped up was his ego!  Woodson drastically let QB, the Cook’s and the Simons down.  If I were the Cook’s and the Simons, I would show MW and QB the door personally

Actually, the fanbase is pretty united at this point... united on the facts that Woodson is NOT a good coach and that he must go.

His twitter cult drooled all summer about what an incredible recruiter he was. The ant Wright guy is one of the worst he was slobbering all over woodson.

Quinn will do whatever he can to save s face. When does Woodson tell guys to fake injuries so he can use that excuse Dude will never take actual personal responsibility

Actually I think right now the fan base is pretty united, just not in the way they hoped for.  :)
